So I awoke this morning to the ringing of my cell phone. I at least picked it up to see who it was. Had it not been my sister, I probably wouldn't have picked it up. She was calling to see when I'd be arriving for Arrival Day (which is a celebration my Mom and Dad put on for my sister and I in honor of our adoption). It's a really nice day where we all are able to be together and drink.
I told her I'd be there around four, and we said goodbye. It was then that I noticed a little envelope icon on my phone. "Ah! A text message" I thought with glee. "I wonder what it'll say?"
It was a phone number with an area code from my hometown. That was somewhat confusing, but also helpful in deciding what had happened.
The message said, " Don't forget about me." and was sent at 8:00 a.m.
Another message was sent at 8:12 saying, "U still coming to get me"
This was all very puzzling to me since I didn't recognize the phone number and couldn't think of a reason why I'd be getting such messages.
This could be an elaborate trick by one my friends, or it could be someone from my hometown who had the wrong number (since this happens more often than you would imagine).
Either way, I think some people had some plans for valentine's day, and it looks like they sort of went wrong. But I wish those people the best. I responded, "who is this?" which made sense to me at the time, but if that person think's I'm someone else, then... Oh well,
